Reflections for Detective Harry H. Boone
Detective Harry H. Boone,
It has been almost a 100 years that you were killed. The incident involving a law officer facing others he intends to arrest has not changed. There was risk then and today the risk has not diminished. Neither is there any shortage of individuals who would bring harm or death to a true and noble officer of the law. I condemn all who would do this and wish they eventually reach forever the depths of hell. Your death brings to us a realization that courage and fortitude existed then and still exists today in the men and women who wear the uniform and serve as our defenders. I forever will admire the courage of those, especially long ago, who act as a model of strength and fortitude for all present and future law officers. I render to you, sir, a final salute.

Detective Boone, it's now been 97 years today since you were murdered. What's most sad about your death was, it was over a lousy trespass arrest. Other's have died under similar circumstances and I ask, for what? Why would someone murder a cop rather than face a charge of trespassing? The individuals responsible for your murder have also died by now and only God knows where they ended up.
I have no doubt of where you ended up and I'm sure Heaven is a better place due to your presence.
God Bless and may you continue to Rest In Peace, Brother.
