Officer Logan,

Hey Uncle John. You've Got a Great Nice from Scottie. Aurora Grace Schwartz, hope you have your hands full. I don't understand why Jareb had to grow up on his own but he did a real great Job. Vanity of vanities. All is vanity under the sun, and it's just too bad that we never got to experience fellowship together. Made a lot of peace on this page here. As a man they will have to lay me down. Not put me down, ain't that right?
Love and respect Uncle Meme and Scottie love you.
They need you, your son could have used you, and I could have used a few run ins that's for sure. I've got to move around because the streets are dangerous at night. I'm homeless, putting myself through school right now with nobody backing me. They will have to lay me down like you before I let the darkness in this overwhelming world consume me. "Love you"

I attended the local Warrior Mindset training by Lt. Col. Dave Grossman and Calibre Press a few weeks ago. John was mentioned during the training seminar, as well as others who have given their lives in service. Thank you John for your sacrifice and you are still remembered. My prayers continue to go to the family and the agency in this tragic loss and the future you must face with John present. May God Bless and keep you.

Hey John, I had misplaced you contact information and my cell phone had crashed back after you returned to Texas. I thought I would get the next time you called but you didn't call. I just thought that you had gotten busy with your law enforcement work and extra contract moonlighting jobs. I found out that I was wrong just a few days ago. After going through a box of papers and pictures I found your number and the Rt 5 ... Jasper TX address. I googled and facebooked to contact you but you had long been gone. Thanks for the friendship while you were visiting and working in Nashville back in 2001 - 2003... I know that you are so proud of your son following in your footsteps. You spoke of them often to me. Im glad you got to spend some more time with them and Im so sorry and frustrated for you that this happened. You were a good friend and a gentleman always in an age where old school values may be fading. I would have really liked to visit you and your family. I facebook messaged your son Jareb. Im at the age now it seems where life takes more from you than it gives. Youre the second friend that has been killed and the third that I have learn of in the last year. I will not forget you my friend...... I will see you on the other side.
