I have been where you fear to go... I have seen what you fear to see...I have done what you fear to do...All these things I've done for you. I am the one you lean upon...The one you cast your scorn upon...The one you bring your troubles to...All these people I've been for you. The one you ask to stand apart...The one you feel should have no heart...The one you call the man in blue... But I am human just like you."

Rest in peace, Rob.....You will be missed....

To Officer Coulter's family and friends,
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. It doesn't matter how your loved one died...it hurts all the same. My heart breaks for you as I too have lost a loved one in the line of duty. I pray that God will keep you in his loving care and give you the strength and will to make it through all the days ahead. There will be days that are much harder...I'm having one of those days right now and it has been over 2 years. Be there for each other and always remember that your loved one's spirit will never leave you. God Bless You!

I got so angry when I read a trooper got shot after 20 years of service.
Then I read a little further and it breaks my heart! He accidentally shot
himself! How sad is this? Your death diminshes us all. Thank you for
your selfless service and sacrifice for 20 years. My thoughts and prayers
are with your family, law enforcement family and all your friends. Even
those of us who didn't know you are so sad your life ended so tragically!
It is a long road to healing that lies ahead, but I know that our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ will extend His mercy and comfort to all who reach
out to Him. There is none greater than He. We don't get to Heaven based
on what we do, but what He did for us!! AMEN! There is now a huge void
that cannot be filled. God be with all those who mourn and may His
promises lift all those with heavy hearts for many years to come.
