Constable Coward,
On today, the 69th anniversary of your murder, I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Pittsylvania County. It took another seven months, but your murderer finally got the justice that he deserved.

To say Thank You for your many years of service and for making the ultimate sacrifice is so inadequate. There are no words to express the gratitude that I have for you and for your family. Sorry it took so long to remember you but now is a great time to say that I'll never forget you.
