Your heroism and service is honored today as we approach the 76th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. He was shot twice when ambushed on April 23rd when he was on a foot pursuit of two bank robbers, 7
2 years after you were killed.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I cannot even comprehend the magnitude of grief your wife had to endure in losing you and her two sons in the line of duty. No one should have to pay this high a price.

I just read the information about the murder of you and your son while performing your law enforcement duties. Then within three months another of your sons was killed doing his police duties in a different jurisdiction. God bless you and your sons. What a sacrifice for one family to make to try and make the world a safer place for others.
Thanks and we shall never forget.
