I can't believe it's been 13 years. I miss you so much Eddie. I wish you we're here. I wish you could see everyone. I wish you could see brandy and Julian. You would be so proud. You wouldn't believe how many people love you and how much they care about you. I tell myself every day that it's ok because your in a better place. I pray that you can see me. I don't think you'd be very proud of me and of the choices I've made but I still hope that your looking down on me and you can see who I'm becoming and that you can see how much I miss you and how much I envy you.I pray that I have a tenth of the courage that you did and I hope that one day I can be like you. I love you so much Eddie. You are my hero.

How is it even possible that we are at the 14th anniversary of your passing. I am certain you are watching from above and so proud of the mom that Brandi is and I am also certain that Julian is as wonderful as she is and you were. My heart aches for your family and loved ones knowing that tomorrow they will yet again mourn your absence missing you at Easter and always. You were a wonderful man, friend to many, father, son and husband. You are missed every day. I pray that Julian always knows what a hero and wonderful person his Dad was. Until we meet again...

Thinking about you a lot these past couple of weeks. The passing of Nick Rodman from LMPD has so many parallels with your story. Prayers to your family during these times.

Mundi,

As always I am hear thinking of you. Feels like yesterday I was in the last phase of the police academy and I got the news. Not the news I wanted to hear. Ricky called me at night and left a message to call him. I knew something was wrong. I remember we all would talk about law enforcement and what kind of cops we would be. I have learned a lot from you in life and carry that with me everyday. I am proud of you and I'm DAMN proud to wear your name on my uniform. Love you bro, miss you a bunch.

Eddie my brother.
I literally just heard today (05/19/14). I am in a complete state of shock right now. Several of your Marine brothers have been searching for you. This was not the way I envisioned finding you. I am absolutely heart broken. I'm numb and In a state of disbelief. I know we swore we would never lose touch, but that damn thing we call life got in the way. I feel horrible that I didn't hunt you down earlier. We spent a lot of good times together brother. I am saddened that we will only hang out in my memories of you now. You were always there for me no matter what. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. You will live on through the memories we all have of you. I love you brother. I'll see you on the other side. Keep those streets safe till I get there!

I remember the events of that night like it was yesterday; it's hard to believe it's been eleven years. You were a great friend and wonderful colleague, you are truly missed.

Eleven (11) years ago today my friend and brother in arms was taken from us in a senseless act of stupidity by a man who has never shown any remorse. There is not a day that goes by I don't think of you or speak of you to someone. Miss you Brother
