No time has passed, it feels like. His Family is a beautiful unit who Honors their Dad and Husband so genuine, so well and to me, they are a unit who stands tall and strong for all of his brothers and sisters in his department and through out. Such a real Officer's Officer who is just born with an undescribable certain gift that one naturally must have to wear his uniform since a very young age as he and his brothers and sisters and their immediate family does in his department.

Thank you for being so sharp, brave and consistently selfless in your Community, to this day. Many of us packed our bags, leaving so many sincere prayers for the good Men and Women in the Pittsburg area, then headed for safety, jobs, and a goal to continuing to fight the good fight wherever our path took us.

When I think of Pittsburg, I can smile that a good ol small "one job" working class town hidden in the foot hills of Mt. Diablo has such brave and sharp men and women who've stuck to their guns of integrity, keeping the area the 1st world quality of life it still is today, despite that overwhelming amount of "folks" who trampled on it so inhumanely with crime, fear, violence, manipulation, vanity etc. Taking a good chuck of the innocence of the good people who've built that area setting a high alert walk of life.

My sincere prayers that all THE best to the Giacomelli Family will remain always. I pray that nothing ever comes in your way to exploit you for self serving individuals, that no one takes away not even one pure and genuine ounce of your day spent with one another, that you all remain the beautiful young family with all of THE best in which YOU all deserve and that Det. Giacomelli, as well as Officer Lassater, the Lassaters, their department and those he stands for as well as those that they serve remains the pure untarnished Heros that their work and character still speaks for it's self.

With love and sincere gratitude, God Bless you.

I have met Maria Ray's widow. I have no words of my own to express the sorrow and loss. So I must use the words of another American who gave the ultimate price for our Freedom.

I feel how weak and fruitless must be any words of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering to you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save.

I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of Freedom.

Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,
A. Lincoln

I just watched the episode of Real Detective featuring this case. I do t think I’ve ever cried over a true crime show before, that is until today. I sat on my couch and sobbbed like a baby. My heart was broken for his family, partner and brothers in blue. My deepest heartfelt sympathies go out to you all.

Full of life, always smiling, playful and born to serve his Community.
Dedicated to his Community, his Community’s Department, his Partner and his Partner’s Wife and his own Family.
He lived and walked with integrity and didn’t compromise it for no one nor turned the other cheek to something/someone dangerous in his Community.
My heart and prayers are with his Community, his Department and the Families of all who suffer tragedy/loss for risking their well being to prevent any elements or way of life that destroys the best quality of life any Country has to offer.

As I remember him, my prayers are also with his Department who strongly stand tall from the blows of protest and violence along with facing danger, crime, sexual assaults, child abuse/neglect, crime in schools, litter, murder and all life changing decisions they make in a split second everyday to save someone’s life or let their Community die from crime, greed, ego or division.
Moreover, my favorite memory of him is just seeing him enjoy and being active in life. My prayers go to all.
