Your heroism and service is honored today, the one hundred and twenty-fourth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

You bravely carried out your duty to protect and serve even though you were not on shift. A true American hero.

I said a little prayer today for Patrolman Nichol and his family. He may be gone but never forgotten. He will always be a New York HERO.

Even off duty you pitched in to give a hand. On this 116th anniversary of your passing, I am honored to leave a rememberance to you. Back in those days people don't picture cops giving 110%, but proved nay-sayers wrong, you did. You are a hero.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.

I stop by this website often after the death of two dear friends with the NCSHP (Troopers Calvin Taylor E.O.W. October 3, 2001 and Anthony Cogdill E.O.W. May 30, 2003). Unfortunately, I had to add the name of another friend recently. Deputy Jeffery Hewitt, Buncombe County (NC) Sheriff’s Department, E.O.W. April 4, 2004.

I want to honor all of those who gave their life in the line of duty. Although your death was many many years ago, you are still a hero.

God Bless the men and women who continue to serve their communities in our great Nation.

...Gone, but never Forgotten....
