Time has pass but you are still missed very much.
For your love ones it leaves us never the same,
such a void, always saddens me how you were taken from
this earth so suddenly & and so violently.
Look to the day when those who took you from us take
their last breath.

Your death has been all-consuming. The places that I know you have been and lived your life are now unbearable to be around. People forget that grief still happens to this day. I now choose to be alone on April 3rd. I go off and take pictures of life around me. I only have people around me that make me happy now. I will see you on the other side also. One of my friends will meet you soon. If you could, meet him at the gate for me. He is a big part of my life and a good man. He has given 30 years to L.E. You will like him. He will take a piece of my heart with him also. But what good is a heart if you don't give some of it away? You are missed by more people than you know.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 6th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Rest In Peace, Charles.
I hold your family in thought and prayer today.

My Dear Brother,
I sit here and look at this tiny box and this box is not big enough for me to fill or explain how I feel, but u know how I feel already.
I thought it was my time this pass Tuesday night but Our Creator granted my wish, my prayer to still be here. You know what my wish was so please don't be sad I am not with u yet I know u understand, they say that sadness is not permitted in heaven and you don't want to break the law, do u?
I have decided as of last year to celebrate life on your E.O.W date, if I am able, in doing the things u most love to do in life here, except I am not going to become a police officer and I surely am not playing the stock market at this time.
I know that this will make u happy and I know u will be with me where I am and whatever I might be doing at that time, always and forever.

A new year has come and my hope is that those who love you may find peace in remembering the good times that they had. I miss you and still wish that you were here though. It is unbelievable what life has been like without you.

God will not abandon us; He wants to comfort us when our hearts are shattered.
I want to remind Christians that after this life, there is no sorrow. The 21st chapter of Revelation tells us of several things that will not exist in heaven. They include: death, mourning, weeping, and even night.
For those who believe, we have the great promise of knowing that eternity will be spent praising God and experiencing the indescribable joy of being in his presence
