Your heroism and service is honored today, the 143rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Officer Faulkner, though your murderer was never apprehended, I believe the cowardly scum faced true justice, if not in this world, then in the next. Your sacrifice makes you a martyr, but your service to the people of Malden and the Commonwealth as a whole makes you a hero.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
