Bobby,
You came up in a conversation at the barracks the other day. We couldn’t stop laughing about things we did as young Troopers. We miss you brother.

12 yeas today... Miss you so much! Still unreal. You have two nieces and one nephew. They would have loved you. When they see a picture of you, the know you are "Uncle Bobby". They are great kids. Your nephews name is Robert. After you. Stina got married this past June. We felt your presence there. Paul and Dad are good. Working hard. Not a day goes by that we don't think about you. Reminisce about all the good times we had with you. Wish we had longer. We love you so much and will NEVER forget you!!! You are forever in our hearts.

I've been wanting to write down my memories for a while.
I am seven months older than you and you were always somebody I looked up to.
I have so many memories of our childhood.
Riding big wheels and bikes in the basement. Playing the sports hand held video games with your mom.
On the high school football team, I remember how strong and talented you were, always remaining modest. When you would hit you reminded me of a train that could not be stopped or slowed down. The coach used to always put us up against each other and this one day I felt strong enough to give you a good shot. You didn't stop or slow down and my shoulder was sore for months.
I will never forget the time you broke that heavy duty one man sled in half. You had the upper half of the sled on you shoulder and turned to the coach saying," what do you want me to do with this". Hysterical.
You were a great guy with a great big heart who had so many friends who loved you.
You were the strongest guy I knew and I could have never imagined you leaving us. One thing I know for sure is that you are looking down us and continue to protect us. -Doug

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 9th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
I pray for the solace of all those who love and miss you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. To your Mom, I hold you in my heart's embrace today because I share your anquish in losing a beloved son which surely has to be life's greatest sorrow.
Rest In Peace.
