Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Morris L. Taylor

What a shame for another hero in blue to be taken away from us. God Bless.

To the family of Deputy Taylor, Just know that you are never alone in the long road ahead... there are plenty of us with you, who are traveling down that same road and hurt when you hurt. Make use of any and all support groups you can find in your area, and always know that GOD is always with you every step of the way. HE will not lead you to anything that HE is not willing to help you through.
'They' keep telling me that "HE will not give you more than you can handle".... but I believe that HE handles it all with you no matter how much it is that he gives you.
In GOD, All things are possible.

Harris County Sheriff's Dpt. & Widdow of Joseph N. Dennis EOW 05-22-01

It was devastating to hear of Morris's death.
He will be in my prayers. His family, friends and co-workers should take some measure of comfort in the knowledge that he gave his community all he had.

who is neither tarnished, nor afraid."

My heart and sorrow goes out to Deputy Taylor's family and his brothers and sisters on his department. It is always sad when we loose a brother or sister and it hurts us all, but it will make us stronger. We will bend but not break no matter what. Both good and evil will meet their maker, who do you think the gates will open for and who will live in hell? Rest in peace my brother for thoses gates will swing open wide for you and you will be greeted by thoses who have gone before.

Sergeant Mike Myers
King County Jail, RJC

My heart goes out to those who lost a father/a son/a husband/and a friend. I'm sure Dep. Taylor was all of those. It takes a special someone to put your life on the line everyday. I will soon be a deputy I have 12 months left until I start my training. And it is great officers like Dep Taylor that give me encouragement to persue my career. You give me hope and inspire me. When you left us on this earth, a part of America died. It will never be the same. You will be missed.

Sister of 3 deputy's

My constant prayers are that the God's peace, comfort, and support be showered on Deputy Taylor's wife and family. My prayers are with you each moment.
My many prayers for the Douglas County Sheriff's Office as they grieve for thier brother officer and friend.

Once again I have come to this page hoping that no new name had been added. Once again I was terribly saddened to see that indeed a name had been added.

I pray that you and your family find the Peace that only the Lord can give. Blessed are the peacemakers.

I feel empty and cannot put any more words here other than to say, Peace be with you, and we'll take the watch from here.

I did not know Deputy Taylor, but I give my best to his family for the loss. He was obviously a brave man, and it is always horrible to hear of officers killed in the line of duty.

I can't believe it happened again. I am truly saddened by this senseless tragedy. I always ask why, but can never figure it out. I guess it was meant to be, because he has chosen me. Go with God my brother. A HERO you truly are!!!
