My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Maintaining control of prisoners is a dangerous yet very necessary job. Without brave men like Keeper McGovern to perform it our system of justice could not function. I hope that you rest in peace Keeper. Your bravery and dedication to duty will not be forgotten.
