Your heroism and service is honored today, the 58th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace

I was in the 2nd grade when my Uncle Louie was accidently killed. I remember his kindness and how big I thought he was. He would let me ride on his shoulder when he went to fire up the furnace in the jail which also was his residence. His funeral could not be held in St. Joseph church because it was being remodeled. Therefore his funeral was held in the auditorium of the Catholic grade school. There was a huge crowd. To this day I remember him for he was the first person to die that I loved.

Mr. Kreilein you died before I was born, but I mention your name in a dignified way when speaking to others about workplace hazards. The Kreilein name is an old and well respected name in Dubois County. Thanks for your service. Rest in peace, Bob Pfister
