Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Jess Claude White

Jess White was my grandfather. He was killed when my father was 7 and my uncle was 3. My grandmother loved him until Alzheimer's took all of her memories. He was my first hero.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 68th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace
