Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Lieutenant Leonard Bruce Estes

"As a rock on the seashore he standeth firm,
and the dashing of the waves disturbeth him not.
He raiseth his head like a tower on a hill,
and the arrows of fortune drop at his feet.
In the instant of danger, the courage of his heart
sustaineth him; and the steadiness of his mind
beareth him out."
Akhematon

As someone who is not connected to law enforcement, I am truly in awe at the selfless bravery of these two officers. They gave up their lives in order to protect the rest of us. Words will never adequately express the gratitude we should all feel. My deepest sympathy goes out to the Estes family, Carolyn, Jenny and Brian,my brother-in-law. You are in my thoughts and prayers constantly.
