As I approach my 40th yr as an LEO and look back I will always remember Jack. I continue to teach CIT to the City and County and you are always at the top of the discussion. Thanks for wonderful memories Jack not only of our early years but of your wonderful family I got to know and love. It is with a heavy heart but a constant vigil so you will never be forgotten. To Mary and family what a wonderful man, husband, father, brother, and friend. God's many blessings to you all, RIP my friend and know you are always in our thoughts and prayers.

On the 8th anniversary of Lieutenant Galvin's death, we honored his service in our patrol briefing by reading his entry from ODMP. Each day, we honor one fallen officer on the anniversary of their death so as to keep them in our thoughts, and also to remind us of the dangers inherent in our job. Lieutenant Galvin is not forgotten.
