A much belated happy 50th birthday son. I am late writing because I was in Connecticut with your twin celebrating both your birthdays. It went on for the whole weekend right up to Tuesday night, the night before I flew home, when we met at your grave and "did shots " to you. Saturday was the big day, and I am sure you were watching.....your spirit certainly was there. Denise made an amazing cake with pictures showing the two of you growing up. I know you are watching, and I know you are so loved and so missed. Hugs Mom

Happy 48th birthday my bonus. Can't believe all this time has passed. Everyone is fine, and I know you are keeping an eye on everyone including me! Thank you son. There is still hurt, there are still tears, and, of course, there are still "Brian stories." Love you son. Mom and Tom

My son is a Police Officer, Special Operations with Virginia Beach PD.
I grieve for the tragic loss of Brian and not a day passes I do not think of him.
I did not know Brian but I feel such a connection to him; I know he is watching over my son from Heaven; Brian has his six.
I visit Brian’s grave weekly and talk with him, I know he is listening and always gives me a sign in the form of a single starling that soars over my head as if to say, I am with you and your son, watching over you.
With love, respect and sympathy.

My Step-Son is a State Trooper here, in CT.

There isn’t a day that goes by, that I don’t think about all PO’s, and what they do for us.

My bonus, I still have the same words, the same thoughts, the same hurt, but what gets me through is you...what you stood for...what you accomplished in life, what made you you......ok so there were some hairy times growing up, but I know you are laughing now, patting me on the head, saying "chill out mom." 18 years son.... RIP... you are so loved and so missed.

Today is the anniversary of your line of duty death. Thank you for your service in the United States Marine Corps and on the East Hartford Police Department. This is a tremendous loss for our nation now matter how much time passes. When I participated in your Snow Dash 5K this year in 2016 at the start of the race the rain was coming down pretty good and during the pre-race speech I was in prayer and when that sun started to shine through the clouds I like to believe that was you. When I attend the 4:00PM mass at St. Brigid of Kildare in South Boston today I will be thinking of you and remembering the life of a great American Patriot Warrior who is a true American hero.
