Reflections for Officer Mark H. Zelewski
I went through the OCPD recruit school with Mark and we and our wives became friends. Mark and I were partners from soon after finishing recruit school until a few weeks before his death. Mark was an intelligent and highly capable person. He had a charming sense of humor and was very likable. He was an excellent officer and served the community well. He would have gone far in his career.Mark was a positive influence in the lives of those who knew him.

May your family take some comfort in knowing that God holds a special place for those who give their lives in the service of others. You are not forgotten. Rest in His Peace, Brother.

Everyone needs a Reflection. This is the date of your death. [7-27-04] Law Enforcement has changed over the years, except the fact that people are still trying to kill us. God Bless.
