My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Deputy Marshal Zahnle,
On today, the 79th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just for your community, but also for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW I. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
