Your heroism and service is honored today, the 84th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I love the photo of you...you have a wonderful grin and you look like the sort of fella that would be proud of never letting a speester get away.

The City of Bay Village is proud to have named a street leading to our new police station in honor of Officer Yoder. "Harvey Yoder Parkway" became a reality on December 4, 2006. Officer Yoder's motorcyle was the tool he most often used to enforce speeding laws. He boasted of never having let a speeder get away. He is the first and only Bay Village police officer to die in the line of duty.

City of Bay Village City Council

Rest in peace. Thank you for your sacrifice.
