Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
GOD Bless

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 76th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

To my grandfather -

I never knew you but your son my father Esteban V. Ayala was very proud of you as was I. He spoke highly of you and your son followed your footsteps and served the Laredo Police Department for 33 years. I aspired to be a police officer as well but I took a different route and now I am a Vice President at a large national bank. I too have chosen to serve my community by voluteering, working with all people of all walks of life. I never met you but you and my father are in my heart and soul. I will always serve my community with you Pedro and Esteban Ayala in my heart.

Your loving grandson,
Ernesto Victor Ayala

P.S. I recall as a child seeing a picture of my grandfather in the Laredo Police Department archives, can you please attempt to add my gradfathers photo.
