Reflections for Correctional Officer Bailey T. Tiffany

May you and all of your brethren who so bravely and selflessly gave of yourselves and made the ultimate sacrifice rest in peace and always watch over your fellow LEO's. Thank you all for your service and know that you are all and always will be true heroes.

Bailey Tiffany was a nephew of my Great Grandfather, William Tomlinson, hence Bailey was the firstborn of William's sister, Lydia Tomlinson Tiffany and William Loring Tiffany. Bailey was born March 10, 1868 in Pennsylvania and settled with his family about 1870 in Minneapolis. He had younger sisters who died young by 1879 in Minneapolis but his Mother bore twin girls later that year. I am sure Bailey's death was tragic for the rest of the family who in 1902 lived in Boston. 2 years later they moved to Europe, coming back to the USA about 1919. As a family researcher I was shocked that the life of a distant cousin could so suddenly be taken away from his loved ones. Even though the family is long gone, I am honored to record this history in the family records.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
GOD Bless

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 110th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

Still the one of the most unbelievable convict escapes that I have ever researched.....Incidentally, for the fellow historians out there, the escaped convict was named Harry Tracy.

For all who fell victim to this anal pore, it may have been 105 years, but I can assure You, that You are not forgotten...
