I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Even though I have never heard of you, thank you for your bravery and for your service to the citizens of Plainview. When you were killed, I was less than one year old --- thank you for ensuring that my generation could be protected and safe. Thank you for your courage!

I miss you every day. You were and are my favorite uncle. You and dad were on the same force when you gave your life and changed mine. I want you to know that I have felt your guidance in my career as an officer. Thank you for the memories, the strength and the life you gave. I have the Texas flag that flew over the capital in your honor I only wish the reason it was flown was different. I am so proud of you. Love, Connie
