Reflections for Police Officer Raleigh W. Taylor

My great-great-grandfather! I am your brother John Taylor's great-grandchild! I'm trying to find more information on you and your wife. You would have been very proud of John he was a WW2 veteran who received a purple heart. It's very sad to know that you died at 28, that's my age right now. RIP

Raleigh - you were a kinsman. I found you while doing family research. You died much too young. I'm now trying to find your 3 children, Raleigh Jr., Christine, and John.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the eighty-first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I was saddened to see that Christmas Day is the eow for so many, many officers. Rest In Peace.
