Patrolman Swartzlander,
On today, the 34th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Bremen. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. It sickens and disgusts me that the two POS's that ran you down and murdered you are not still in prison-at the very they should've got Life with no parole.

I knew him. I respected him. I did business / off the clock time with him. My eyes still tear up. I am a master archer, because Tony taught how to be... Every time I knock an arrow, I see Tony.

Tony was my best friend. We worked togethe5r as rookie cops in Washington,D.C. for several years before he went back home to Bremen, Ind.. Tony was the kind of friend everyone should be lucky enough to have. I miss him all the time. He came from a nice family and I was sorry to hear that his mother died a few years ago. His young nephew is now on the Bremen Police Dept. I send him and Tony's sisters my love............Bryan Hall 9-22-06

Brother Swartzlander,

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Respectfully,
You’re Brothers in Blue
