My Grandfather. You were taken from your family way too soon. You would have been so proud of your sons, grandchildren and great-granchildren. Wish I could have met you.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 81rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

My Grandfather, your son and namesake, was a great man, you would have been very proud of him and the amazing family he had. I know the two of you are now reunited in Heaven, and you are both watching out for all of us. I'm sorry we never met, and I miss my Grandpa. God Bless you, I tell my children about you.
