Reflections for Patrol Officer William J. Stokes

Officer Stokes, it has been 98 years since you were taken from us. New England law enforcement has continued to thrive, learn and become safer due to the traditions and sacrifices that you and too many others have made for us. Thank you for your service.

Your heroism and service is honored today on the 87th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

92 years ago you risked and lost your life in the City of Waterbury Ct.

I hope there are memorials at the PD or at City Hall or some place, perhaps a building names after you.

I feel so sad that they are so few comments for refections.

I came to today to tell you your are remembered and appreciated by a Watch Group in Manchester, NH.

We have recently lost an office and it has left a void in our City just as all the deaths of your officers have in Waaterbury.

God Bless you sir, thank you for your service and I hope more officers and citizens stop by this web site and remember you as well.
