Reflections for Chief of Police Wilbur B. Souter

This is the first time we've ever seen this site. Wilbur B. Souter is my husbands Grandfather. My husband was named for him, Wilbur B. Justice. So great to know that others remember. My husband never knew his grandfather except through his grandmother and it has been wonderful seeing this site. Thank you all.

Rest in Peace, Chief Souter. Your sacrifice is not forgotten.

Officer 11169

March 25, 2012

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 76th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
