You have not been forgotten...nor will you...I cherish your gold cuff-links.. Your brother Ben, my grandfather continued to honor your memory...You have a number of grand nephews and great- grand nephews who have or are serving as law-enforcement officers. Several of us have visited Cripple Creek to pay our respects for your bravery and sacrifice....

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 103rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
