Reflections for Police Officer Trent A. Sickles
Your heroism and service is honored today, the 77th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Laslater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.Rest In Peace

Thank you for your brave service. My father christened me after his uncle that he never knew and I am privileged to be named in your honor.

I am investagating the case. Every one gave up---but I will not. I will try my best to catch these cowards. They may be dead, but many others who know are alive! Believe me when I say that I will catch them if I can!

Officer Sickles, you went out and did your job. You didn't say, "Well, it's outside MY jurisdiction...", you just did it. That showed dedication and guts.
God Bless you and those you left behind. So long as your memory lives in the hearts and minds of your families, so do you. Rest in Peace, brother.
