Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Officer George B. Anderson

George, I just found you today while researching my family tree. You will not be forgotten in our family, and I hope to learn more about your life and family. I'm proud to be part of your bloodline.
Peace be with you.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 98th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

How proud you must have been to have had your family continue your legacy of protecting and serving.

Rest In Peace

I was born in 1949, and did not know my Great Grandfather, yet I was always very proud of him, and I wore a badge for more than 15 years. I still have a picture of him with his Police Motorcycle standing in front of the station. I just wanted to write a few words in his honor, and say "Thanks Great Grandpa for your service."
