Reflections for Sergeant Pelham C. Scott

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 64th anniversary of your death. I am privileged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Phyllis Loya
mom of fallen Pittsburg (CA) Officer Larry Lasater, eow 4/24/05

As a neighbor of the Kenny, Love, Moore, and Juettemeyer families, we can never forget the deaths of Scott Pelham or Edward Juettemeyer.

Scott Pelham visited our dad often. He was a truly great man. When
I walked down the street, windows were open and I remember hearing Edward Juettemeyer singing because he was such a happy man.

At 16 I too felt heartsick at the loss if these two men. Now at 80 it
still brings tears to my eyes while reading above article.

I was 5 yrs old when the double murder of Scott and Juettemeyer took place. My family were next door neighbors to the Juettemeyers. This event had a profound effect on my life. I can only imagine the trauma it caused for the Juettemeyer family. I believe Johnson should have be executed.
