Your heroism and service is honored today, the 87th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

.Rest In Peace.

Grandpa Sage,

I never got to meet you or Grandma, but you have been a part of my life and history. My father told me many stories about his growing up in Butte without you or Grandma. I visited your graves several years ago and visited Butte Police Hdqtrs. My son, will inherit your badge, which I treasure and his son, will inherit it from him. I look forward to meeting my Aunt Marie in Heaven when we are reunited as a family. I love you Grandpa, I am proud to be related to you.

Love,

Marcia and descendents

Officer Sage,
On today, the 83rd anniversary of your murder, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Butte. I think it was a travesty of justice that your murderers were not brought to justice.]
