Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Jerry Russo

2021 was a bad year for Jerry's family. His son Daniel Carleton Russo died 12/23/2021 after a long illness. Dan looked just like his dad.

Time goes by, but memories of you remain and are cherished by your wife Peggy, son Dan, granddaughter Megan, and grandson Nicholas.

Rest in Peace.

Dear Jerry: I still miss you after all these years. Wish you were here to see your grandchildren and your great grandchildren. Dan still looks like you.

He was my Grandfathers baby brother. My dad, Victor Russo, remembers him very fondly. He was the, "Fun, young uncle."

I would very much like to connect with Vincent Russo and his family.

Can anyone tell me what cemetary Deputy Jerry Russo is buried at. I live on the east coast and I believe he is resting here on the east coast. It would be an honor to be able to visit his grave.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 45th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never dimishes respect, not even 45 years.

Rest In Peace

On the day that Deputy Sheriff Russo was killed, my husband was born. He was an Alabama State Trooper killed 2/17/2002. One great officer left this world as another officer was being born. May God bless you all.
