I came to this site looking for information about an Irving, TX officer who I understand was killed in an auto accident tonight, as well as further information on Officers Hank Nava and Dwayne Freeto of the FWPD. My husband is an officer with Azle PD and my brother is with Fort Worth PD. My heart was warmed to see this memorial to Billy Rose, who was the husband of my Dad's sister. Although he died before I was born, Dad, my Aunt and other family members have spoken fondly of Billy throughout my lifetime. His mother and dad remained close to my aunt and family for the remainder of their lives. My Aunt eventually remarried, and her second husband was a wonderful father to her and Billy's son. She lost her second husband about five years ago. She lives in Azle, as does her son. He and his wife have two grown children and two grandchildren. Thanks to those who created and maintain this website. I know it is a comfort to the families of the fine men and women who gave their lives serving and protecting the citizens of our great nation.
