Reflections for Officer Daniel A. Romberger
Your heroism and service is honored today on the 80th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.
My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. He was shot twice when ambushed on April 23rd when he was on a foot pursuit of two bank robbers. Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.

It was a privilege getting to know you 70+ years after your death. I am proud to tell your story to others, and claim you as my great-grandfather. I hope to see you on the other side one day and learn more about you.

Everyone who paid the ultimate price deserves a "Reflection." You refused a bribe and paid the ultimate price. You are a man of honor. RIP.
