Your heroism and service is honored today, the 52nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Uncle Austin:

Although I was born 8 1/2 months after your death, I was raised hearing all the stories about your life. All very interesting to say the least, and all prompting me my entire life to get into Law Enforcement. As a sign of your memory, many people in Law Enforcement still speak of you after 41 years, reminding us all of what a great person and officer you were. You will live in our hearts always!!!
