I am a current Patrol Officer for Moulton and when I walk the downtown area I think of his sacrifice and how I am honered to continue protectting and serving this community as he did.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 77th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was murdered on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Charles O. Riske is my great uncle. I was not born at the time of his death, but was told of his sacrifice by my family. Charles was a dedicated public servant according to many who knew him. God rest his soul. His killers were never brought to justice.
