Today is the anniversary of your death Joseph. We thank you for your service. No matter how much time passes this is a tremendous loss for our city of Boston. When I attend mass at my home parish of St. Brigid of Kildare this Sunday we will be thinking of you and your service as a police officer in the city of Boston. I can confirm that you have been added to my heroes page here on the odmp.org and you will always be honored. Blessed be the peacekeepers for they shall be called the children of God.

Patrolman Reiser, today marks the 89th anniversary of your death at the hands of something one would scrape off one’s shoe. We can only hope that the responsible party faced true justice, if not in this life, then in the next.

God Bless you and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.

No officer should be without a reflection. I send this one to thank you for giving the ultimate sacrifice and for paving the way for the future for us to follow, on the thin blue line. Thank you.
