Reflections for Constable Marshall G. Rader

Marshall Rader was my grandfather. He died before I was even born. My mother has now passed as well. I’ve always been told he died in the line of duty on a domestic disturbance call. Although at one point in his career he did have a car accident, that was not the cause of death. I’ll look into getting this corrected. Rest in peace. I’ll meet you one day. Thank you for your service along with many others.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 45th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never dimishes respect, not even 45 years.

Rest In Peace

On this day one great officer, Deputy Sheriff Rader left this world as one great officer, my husband was born. God took one and sent one on the same day. May God bless you all.
