For Sergeant Mark A. Prynn:

Duty for the law officer has never be without tribulation. No matter the modernization of the day, the duty of making arrests and enforcing the law still harbors peril. Sometimes it is simply tragic happenstance that brings a life to and end. We rue the day of this sad event, but we also rejoice that Mark's sacrifice yet brings encouragement to others with a dream to take up his position and duty.

We pray that Mark is remembered by his family, and those who knew of him, and that they perpetuate his memory and his sacrifice toward law and order.

I am proud to render Sgt. Mark Prynn, one of Pennsylvania's first-generation soldiers of the law, a final salute.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)
