Reflections for Trooper Lory Lee Price

Trooper Lory Price is my great uncle. My Aunt has purchased a monument that tells Lory's story as a Family Member, Decorated World War I War Hero, and Illinois Motorcycle State Policeman. We will dedicate the stone and recognize his achievements again on Saturday, September 9th, 2023.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 85th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Tragically, your wife also paid the supreme service when she too was horrifically murdered. She is remembered today for her heroism for she became a hero by chance as a result of being the wife of a law enforcement officer. It is beyond awful when criminals target families of law enfocement officers.

Time never dimishes respect, not even 85 years.

MaY you and your brave wife rest In peace
