My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

My grandfather died because he believed in "protecting the rights of the people". He died befor I was born, but I am always egar to tell about this brave and peacekeeping officer that is my beloved grandfather

Though 1942 was a very long time ago and it seems that no one can recall how or why you died, your life has not been forgotten. Your memory lives on through the efforts of the keepers of this memorial.
