Your heroism and service is honored today, the 74th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Deputy Aguirre - I would love to know the truth about that doctor's alleged inability to treat you. You deserved better. Two Fridays ago, I stood in the State Assembly chamber, when your name was one of the almost 250 read off during a motion regarding next month's Police Memorial Week. We will, at that time, wear our mourning bands in memory of all who have fallen in service to our communities. You are not forgotten. Thank you for your service to the people of Huerfano County and the State of Colorado. May God grant you eternal rest and may His perpetual light shine upon you.

To A Man-
Who I never got to meet, but got to hear wonderful stories from a daughter who was so young when he was taken from this world. He was a man of intelligents and fair judgement for everyone. He was a gentle man who did all for his family and community.

I lived off the stories from Felia Arellano (deceased), one of the surviving daughters, now with just the memory of her telling them. I am glad to see that my great grandfather is getting the recognition he deserves for his tragic death.
