Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Officer Carlo Angelo Poggetto

I remember him well. He and his family lived down the street from me on Elaine St. I was 7 at the time. All the kids on the block liked him. He would drive by every day on his motorcycle and wave to us. We were very sad when we heard the news. He was our friend.

When I heard of Officer Casillas death I was reminded of Officer Carlo Pojetto's death over 60 years ago. I don't know why; I did not know him, but I remember we were attending Pomona High School at the same time. I remembered him then and thought about what a waste of a life of an officer doing his job. I was surprised that I found this information after so many years, but am glad that he is still remembered.
