Your heroism and service is honored today, the 78th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I said a little prayer today for Trooper Plunkett and his family. He may be gone but never forgotten. He died a New York hero.

Dear Trooper Plunkett,
I met a very special lady this weekend at Survivor's weekend in Albany who handed me a beautiful Everlasting Remembrance Book. It is so beautiful and I thanked her then but I would like to thank her with a note. I hope that she reads this and I want her to know how much this beautiful book means to me. Her thoughtfulness will never be forgotten for such a lovely gesture on her part. Thank you to the beautiful lady and thank You for the service that you gave the people of the State of New York. Even though it has been over 60 years since your accident this website will keep your memory alive by people who read and see your picture. Rest in peace.
