Your heroism and service is honored today, the 105th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Your memory will always be honored and revered for time never diminishes respect.

Well John we just concluded our 5th Annual memorial service honoring the sacrifices made by you and Chief Daily over 100 years ago. I attempt to keep your memory alive and put your face before our officers and the public. I cannot understand how the city allowed your memories to fade without memorializing your sacrifice. I also cannot understand why the majority of our officers don't leave a reflection. God Bless you John
