Officer Peters, though your murder was never caught, I hope and pray he found true justice, if not in this life, then in the next. Your sacrifice and career of so many years have not been forgotten.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 63rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Nearly 65 years after your unfortunate death and your great heroism, your courage and service have not been forgotten… and never will.

Every week the new recruit class 102 researches about honorable lawmen of the Tulsa Police Department who were killed in the line of duty. This research promotes the right mindset and helps us pay special attention to our officer safety before going to the streets of Tulsa to serve our community.

Thank you for your many years of outstanding service and for making the difference. You will never be forgotten.
