To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 53rd anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Motor Officer D.Johnson
Metro Nashville Police Dept.

Being a motorman is what you loved. Unless you have been one, no one knows the feeling. I was only a few months old when you died, but in my later yearsbecame a motorman for the state as you did, about the same age. Being involved in a crash in 1996, I was fortunate enough to continue, but not on what I loved to do...ride. You are on the ULTIMATE motor squad now. Rest easy Brother and watch over us. I will look forward to seeing your Ultimate motor wings. Until we meet...
